The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the activities of the Tashkent city Police Department

During the visit (for more information: https://mvd.uz/ru/lists/view/7794 A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Zapparov Arystangani, visited one of the departments of internal affairs of the city of Tashkent.

Using the example of this district unit, the deputy head of the Tashkent city Police Department – head of the Department for Ensuring Safe Tourism, Colonel R. Saifulov, briefly spoke about the reforms carried out recently in the system of internal affairs bodies of the capital, in particular, about the transformation of the police department into Departments for coordinating the activities of the Department of Internal Affairs, the creation of 4 to 9 departments of internal affairs in each district, which aimed to increase the responsiveness to incidents, as well as bring the Department of Internal Affairs closer to the population. Our foreign colleagues were very interested in the story about the introduction of the "Safe Capital" Concept, according to which round-the-clock, three-shift patrolling of the city was introduced by the forces and means of the internal affairs bodies, the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the public, and the successes achieved thanks to this, reflected in a significant reduction in the crime rate and increasing the effectiveness of measures for early prevention of illegal acts.

The guests appreciated the conditions created in the 7th Department of Internal Affairs, where representatives of the passport service, psychologists, inspectors on women's issues and other services of internal affairs bodies work. A positive assessment was given to the equipment of the department with innovative technologies, efforts to provide prevention inspectors with special smartphones, where an identity identification program is installed.
