Employees of the Tashkent city police Department got acquainted with the activities of the Nur-Sultan police

Within the framework of the bilateral agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as in pursuance of the agreements reached during the first meeting of the heads of the internal affairs/police bodies of the capitals of the CIS member states, the delegation of the Tashkent police Department headed by the deputy head – head of the Investigative Department at the Tashkent Police Department, Colonel Z. Alimov visited the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the visit, employees of the Tashkent police Department visited the Nur-Sultan Police Department, where they got acquainted with the activities of the Operational Management Center, including through the "102" line, and the Migration Services Center, where they met with the deputy head of the Nur-Sultan Police Department, Police Colonel G. Nurkaev. He spoke in detail about the introduction of advanced information and communication technologies into the activities of the police, about the principles of the operation of the channel "102", equipping the duty station with a geoinformation system, as well as about projects for the installation of outdoor video surveillance cameras and photo and video recording, implemented on the terms of public-private partnership. In particular, the "Unified Contact Center 109" was presented, which unites all call centers of municipal enterprises and is a single point of contact with all residents of the city.

The deputy head of the Nur-Sultan Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel T. Mirzakayumov, held talks with the delegation of the Tashkent city Police Department, who spoke about the reforms in the police of Kazakhstan, the unification into a single service of road and patrol police and the creation of a local police service, which is entrusted with the tasks of crime prevention, public order protection and road safety.

The delegation of the Tashkent city Police Department was undoubtedly interested in the experience of colleagues in introducing criminal proceedings in electronic format and the system of recording interrogation, as well as the introduced institute of Mediation (one of the forms of alternative dispute settlement), whose members are selected from among the civilian population.

In addition, during the two-day visit, employees of the Tashkent city Police Department had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of strong points and district inspectors assigned to specific administrative areas, and visited one of the district police departments of Nur-Sultan.
