The Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states visited the 7th Department of Internal Affairs of the Yunusabad district
A regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Tashkent from May 30 to June 1.
The heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states paid an official visit to the 7th Department of Internal Affairs of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Yunusabad district of Tashkent. The Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries and members of delegations were told in an interactive form, using video and photo materials, about the main stages of the reforms of the structure of the Tashkent police Department, which have become the legal basis for large-scale transformations of the last two years.
It was emphasized that the starting point of reforming the structure and principles of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent was the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 14, 2018. "On the introduction of a qualitatively new system of public order protection, crime prevention and crime control in the city of Tashkent."
On the basis of this document, internal affairs departments were created – from 5 to 9 in each district. The number of departments "dictate" the extent of the territory and the population. The purpose of the innovation is to bring the internal affairs bodies closer to the population, make them more accessible to people, increase the efficiency of arrival in the shortest possible time. Here, the population should receive comprehensive and prompt assistance in all areas within the powers of the ATS system.
The main principle of work is the unity of actions of all state bodies, law enforcement agencies, citizens' self-government bodies (mahalla gatherings of citizens), civil society institutions and the general public in timely identification and resolution of citizens' problems, early prevention of crimes and offenses.
The guests were introduced to the advanced methods of crime prevention and combating crime and innovative technologies introduced into the activities of the department. The vehicles and motor vehicles that are in service with the internal affairs bodies, as well as the National Guard and emergency services stationed on the territory of the 7th Department of Internal Affairs of the Yunusabad district were demonstrated.
At the end of the meeting, the guests were presented with memorable gifts.
